Dr. Sara Tancredi Picture 20

Welcome back!

Dr. Sara Tancredi: I’m in a lot of trouble, I think.
Nurse Katie Welch: I, I need to apologise to you. They threatened my job if I didn’t talk, and…
Dr. Sara Tancredi: No, no, no, no. No. One thing you learn when you’re walking the steps, is that you never outsource a blame that belongs in your own backyard.
Nurse Katie Welch: Well, you’re not the first correctional worker that fell for a con. Trust me.

Michael Scofield: You ever wonder in another life…
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I won’t be that woman, Michael.
Michael Scofield: I wasn’t asking you to be. But it is something I wonder about. Anyway, just wanted to be sure it was heard.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Why do I get the feeling you’re saying goodbye to me?
Michael Scofield: In a place like this, you never know which day’s going to be your last.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: [finishing cleaning the wound] Listen, I’m really sorry about your brother.
Michael Scofield: [reaching out for her arm and caressing her hand] Thank you.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: What do you want from me Michael?
Michael Scofield: Sara.
[pause]
Michael Scofield: I need you to do something for me.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: What?
[he strokes her hair]
Michael Scofield: Wait for me. It won’t always be like this, this room, this place.
[she kisses his hands]
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Until then I can’t. We can’t.
[someone comes in]
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Damn it. I can’t. And I gotta go.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: You went to Loyola?
Michael Scofield: You’ve been checking up on me.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I like to get to know my patients. I went to North Western. Graduated a year after you did.
Michael Scofield: Maybe we met before. You know, drunk out at a bar somewhere.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I would have remembered.
Michael Scofield: Is that a compliment?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: No.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: Tattoo looks fresh. Hold that. I guess, being a diabetic, you don’t mind needles.
Michael Scofield: I’m Michael, by the way.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Scofield. I’ve read your report.
Michael Scofield: And you are?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Dr. Tancredi will do.
Michael Scofield: Tancredi like the governor? You’re not related, are you? Wouldn’t think you’d find the daughter of Frontier Justice Frank working in a prison. As a doctor, no less.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I believe in being part of the solution, not the problem.
Michael Scofield: “Be the change you wanna see in the world”… What?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Nothing. That was just my senior quote.
Michael Scofield: That was you? This whole time, I was thinking it was Gandhi.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: You’re very funny.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: You close?
Lincoln Burrows: We were.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: How about now?
Lincoln Burrows: He’s been abandoned his whole life. Dad. Mom. She died young. And now me.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Think that’s why he’s here? ‘Cause your… your death would feel like it’s happening again?
Lincoln Burrows: I abandoned him a long time ago. That’s why he’s here.

Michael Scofield: [pointing a gun at Henry] I just want my brother’s life back. I want people to know the truth. I’d give anything for that. I’d lay down my life.
Warden Henry Pope: Well that’s easy for you to say standing on that side of the gun.
[Michael puts the gun on the kitchen counter and turns it over pointing towards himself]
Michael Scofield: What if I’m standing on this side?
Michael Scofield: I’m not the man you think I am.
Warden Henry Pope: Well I have a pretty good idea of who you are, Michael.
Michael Scofield: If that’s true then you already know I never wanted to be in Fox River. I never wanted to meet you, Henry. I certainly didn’t want to ruin your life.
Warden Henry Pope: Yeah, well, you’ve done a pretty damn good job!
Dr. Sara Tancredi: You’re not saying anything to him I haven’t said myself, Henry. I’ve looked into this. What he’s saying to you is absolutely true.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: He decided it was for the best, and I couldn’t take this anymore.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: It’s over just like that, huh?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Yeah.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: It’s over like the time you flew to New Mexico on a dead woman’s ID to meet up with him? Or it’s over like the time that you met up and got back together at the train station in Evansville? Or maybe like today, when you checked into this hotel here two hours ago? Which one is it like, like that?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I don’t honestly care if you believe me or not.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: No plans to meet? No phone calls?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I’m telling you the truth.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: He’s not going to call you?
[Sara slams the phone on the coffee table]
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: Don’t lie to me. You don’t want to do that.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: You know, it’s why I started.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: Started what?
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Using. Same reason as you.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: Why? Because you had to stay up all night during residency?
[laughs]
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: Because the bass player dumped you in front of the whole sorority? Yeah, you and I got a lot in common.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I’ve seen people die too.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: I’m assuming you didn’t make them die.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: You need help.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: Not what I’m lookin’ for.
[pulls out his gun]
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone: For your sake, I hope your boyfriend calls back real soon.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: Michael, tell me something. Is there a part of you that enjoys this?
Michael Scofield: Peroxide and an open wound? No.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: [Laughs] Escaping from prison and beaing on the run, and the danger, and the fear, and the rush, and all that. It a… it feels to me like chasing a high. And I know what that’s like. And I should know better by now.
Michael Scofield: I never thought about it like that. I know you’ve heard this before, but it won’t always be like this.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: From everything you’ve told me, it’s just getting worse.
Michael Scofield: They can’t chase us forever. The guy who caught up with us today- he stops at the border, that’s why we have to get across. And I have the poeple and place to help us do that. They’re meeting us tommorrow. One more day Sara, one more day. That’s all I’m asking.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Ok, go wash up. Keep this dry.
Michael Scofield: [Michael gets up from the bed and begins to walk into the bathroom, but turns back] Sara, I’m glad you came.

Dr. Sara Tancredi: We’ve got to get back to my car.
Michael Scofield: It’s too far.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: If we go now before he gets more people…
Michael Scofield: He’s not going to call for backup. He wants his privacy.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Why?
Michael Scofield: He’s not trying to catch me-he’s trying to kill me.

Michael Scofield: Please understand that I never meant… I never wanted to involve you in this.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Well you’ve done a pretty poor job of that
Michael Scofield: I came here to tell you something. I’m getting my brother out of here. Tonight. And I need your help
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Michael, for your own good, don’t say anymore
Michael Scofield: You know he’s innocent
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Do what you’re talking about and he won’t be
Michael Scofield: But he’ll still be alive
Dr. Sara Tancredi: You know that I’m required by law to repot everything you’re telling me
Michael Scofield: Yes
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Then why would you?
Michael Scofield: Because you’re the only one that can help. Because I know you want to be part of the solution, not the problem

Dr. Sara Tancredi: So now it’s a conspiracy.
Michael Scofield: I didn’t come here to have a debate.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Your asking me to break the law.
Michael Scofield: I’m asking you to make a mistake, not hurt anyone not steal anything just forget to lock-up. Leave the door unlocked when you leave tonight, that’s it. Please!
Dr. Sara Tancredi: This is where your breaking out of, this room?
Michael Scofield: There are alarm contacts in the glass surrounding the door, otherwise I wouldn’t need you to…
Dr. Sara Tancredi: I was part of your plan? What it all an act?
Michael Scofield: At first, yes. I needed to be here but then I wanted to be here, with you.
Dr. Sara Tancredi: Right.
Michael Scofield: And it’s killing me to know that you will never believe that. Whatever you may think of me… this is about Lincoln, don’t make him pay for my mistakes.
[Sara then leaves out the door]
