Wyatt is thrashed up and asked to tell General Krantz that the brothers Michael and Lincoln are dead. When he still does not agree, Don Self plans up a trick to record Wyatt’s voice message to the General but Wyatt still tries to convince Sara for a compromise as the General’s men were frantically trying to call him up. Wyatt also offers to facilitate escape plans for Sara and Michael if he is let off.
The gang then pours over the blueprints and other documents but the Bird Book pages that are with Gretchen Morgan are still required to complete their plan.
The General wants the Scylla moved to another location but Lisa does not agree, as some more time is needed.
At the GATE offices, Lincoln, Bellick, Michael and Sucre enter through the trap door with T-Bag as their guide. T-Bag’s boss, in the meanwhile, is uneasy with his co-worker Andrew missing, so T-Bag rings Gretchen Morgan to be sure that she had buries the body. Detectives then come visiting T-Bag to enquire about Andrews, making T-Bag uncomfortable.
Alexander Mahone is mad at Wyatt, who had killed his son but Agent Don Self tries to calm him, telling him that he would eventually get a chance to deal with Wyatt.
In the meanwhile, Bellick, Sucre, Lincoln and Michael reach up to the L.A. water supply’s main conduit pipe and begin digging under it, but the idea does not seem to work up so Michael opinionates that they proceed through the pipe. Sucre and Michael start peeling off the sleeve of the pipe, while Lincoln goes along with Bellick to T-Bag’s office where he is trying to tackle the detective so as to not let him be aware of the noises happening below.
By using an audio record device, Agent Don Self records and then edits Wyatt’s voice saying and make it “They are all dead. It’s over.”
Then he exits with Sara to leave Alexander Mahone alone with Wyatt as Mahone’s mind is made up to make Wyatt suffer more than his son did. Self takes away Wyatt’s phone and relays the message to General Krantz who appears to be quite content and pleased with this report.
Gretchen visits the General who asks her to work with him again and tries flattering her, calling her ‘my girl’ and it all ends up with a passionate kiss.
Bellick and Lincoln cut off the main conduit water from the water station while still underground Michael and Sucre get to work when they notice the water flow recede. But Michael suddenly starts withering with severe pain in his head, so Sucre doubles up for his work too.
Alexander Mahone tortures Wyatt with a heart monitor from the ambulance. He connects it to Wyatt and gives him shocks. Then he coerces Wyatt to lie down and apologize to Pam, whose son he had killed, on the telephone.
T-Bag approaches his boss with his fudged up records and pass it on as Andrew’s, hence showing evidence that Andrews was cheating the company and suggesting that detectives should be removed to prevent bad name to the company.
Sucre drills open the water pipe and makes holes of the same size on both the side but he needs Michael’s help as his torch goes out and the hole has to be hit by hand. Bellick and Lincoln would be pulling the second pipe from the other side to get it into the two holes in the main conduit pipe.
The General discusses the plan regarding Scylla with Gretchen as he wants to replicate his success in creating chaos in Laos in America as well. The influential men from the spheres of finance, energy and military would be looked upon by the people for every problem of theirs. He convinces Gretchen to be with him. Lisa comes in to tell him that Scylla can be moved soon, and The General gives his assent to the plan to shift Scylla from Los Angeles. Gretchen is stunned to hear the news of Lincoln and Michael’s death.
Alexander Mahone ties up Wyatt with a cinder block and takes him to the edge of the river. Wyatt speaks “You and I are the same Alex…I’ve done things-” but is unable to complete the sentence as he is pushed into the river by Mahone.
The gang underground is about to get the pipe but the beam breaks and as the water supply is speeding up and time is short Bellick jumps in to plug up the main pipe knowing well the consequence of it. Lincoln’s urgings not withstanding, Bellick fits into the pipe as the gushing water submerges him.
