Lincoln and Michael are driving towards Salt Lake City, Utah along the Highway 150 when through radio Lincoln learns about the report that the Fox River Eight have now been reduced to the Fox River Seven as John Abruzzi is now dead. Lincoln then gives the idea that they should drive up to Arizona and take his son L.J. along with them to Panama. A visibly disturbed Michael informs his brother that they would need Westmoreland’s money to proceed further on any of their plans.
In Chicago field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation field office, Agent Lang briefs Agent Alexander Mahone that on Interstate 80, a man matching T-Bag’s description is seen heading west. But Agent Alexander Mahone is unhappy that no information has been gained regarding Michael except by the technician who has retrieved approximately sixty percent of the data from the hard drive of Michael, and most of the files were in context with D.B. Cooper.
The radio is playing the song, Under the Milky Way by The Church while David and Debra Jean are talking about their future, still staying at the motel in Mack, Colorado, 10 miles away from the Colorado/Utah border, when a police officer knocks at their room’s door. Debra Jean opens the door as a very nervous David looks on. The police officer shows Debra Jean, pictures of David shot from the Fox River Prison and asks her whether she had seen such man, but she refuses and the closes the door. Then Debra Jean informs David that she would be leaving her car keys on the table situated by the door and David, very gloomily tells her, how he wished they had met under different circumstances. David moves on to Utah where he meets T-Bag and they both decide to team up with each other.
At the same time, Lincoln and Michael go up to the municipal building in Utah to find old record books which contain old maps of the area so that they learn about the topography and geography of the area. But when they check out the entry in the index regarding “Karl Kokosing”, also known as “Double-K”, the Double-K Ranch where Westmoreland had hidden his money, the map is missing as the page containing Map 1213, had been pulled off. Lincoln sees T-bag walking outside the building, when the brothers themselves exit from the municipal building so they confront and overpower T-Bag and compel him to inform them where the Map 1213 was .T- Bag answers them that David was now his partner and it was David who possessed the map and not T-Bag. So the brothers advance to search for David, locking up T- Bag safely in the boot of their car.
C-Note is on board a train to Utah and currently is moving across Green River, Wyoming. He is using a ticket stub to fake up as his ticket, and requests the person sitting next to him to let him use her laptop computer. He then opens up the website of the United States Army Signal Corps and types in a search for “K K Ranch”. The conductor just comes in as C-Note is jotting down the coordinates, 43° 46′ 45.9″ N 111° 38′ 35.5 W, as mentioned on the website. The conductor informs him that the ticket with which he is traveling is not valid and also that he would be taken off the train by some police officers at the next stop of the train. C-Note immediately jumps off the train into a flowing river. He moves on foot in the quest of money from Preston, Idaho to Utah. As he is passing by the Cache County, in Utah, C-Note tries to freshen up in a front yard of a house with the help of a garden hose. The owner of the house interrupts him and C-Note asks her the cost of her RV to which she gives him a figure of $40,000.00. C-Note informs her that he would come back with cash in few days time.
Fernando Sucre is approximately hundred miles away from Las Vegas, Nevada, from where he calls up all the chapels in Las Vegas so that he may learn where Maricruz is marrying to Hector.
As soon as he finds the chapel, he goes up there and meets Theresa, Maricruz’s sister, who tells him to wait, as Maricruz is getting her photographs taken with her parents. Hector then arrives and informs Sucre that Maricruz will be there shortly. Sucre’s anger rises up as he tells Hector that he won’t allow him to raise his and Maricruz’s child. Then he hears the noise of police car’s sirens and it dawns to him that Hector had back stabbed him once again. He knocks out Hector and catches up with Theresa outside the room and asks her whether she had given the information to Maricruz regarding his presence. When she replies in positive, he pulls off the crucifix necklace from his neck and puts it into Theresa’s hands, and rides away. He is last seen close to the Utah border, filling up his motorcycle in Mesquite, Nevada.
In Chicago, meanwhile Agent Kim catches up with Agent Kellerman to check Agent Kellerman’s status and asks questions regarding Kellerman’s idea to go after Dr. Sara Tancredi to which Agent Kellerman is adamant that he would only directly report to President Caroline Reynolds.
Dr.Sara Tancredi checks up her mail as she gets ready to leave her apartment for the daily Narcotics Anonymous meeting. She glances at a handwritten envelope and tears it open to find an origami swan with series of numbers jotted down on an inside of a wing of the swan. After the Narcotics Anonymous meeting is over, Agent Kellerman invites Sara Tancredi to have dinner with him as his partner Daniel has gone out of town for a business tour.
Governor Tancredi is in a meeting with his advisers, when Sara telephones him but the advisers ask the governor to stay away from his daughter. So he drops by to meet her as she is having dinner with “Lance”. Father and daughter have a chat in the kitchen, where Sara says sorry to her father and reasons him out why she helped Michael abscond from the prison and how Lincoln may be innocent as all the people related with the case are now dead.

As both are talking between themselves Agent Kellerman, sees the origami swam and takes down the number written on its wing. The number turns out to be of a phone connection which had been disconnected seventeen years ago.
In Utah, David tries to buy a shovel from a hardware store but the salesman identifies him and hits him with a baseball bat. He then attempts to move David into the back room but Lincoln and Michael intrude and get hold of David who then goes on to tell them that it is T-Bag who has the Map 1213 and not him. So they are back where the car is and T-Bag has swallowed the map after committing it to his memory. T-Bag then negotiates with Lincoln and Michael for a share in lieu of the location of the Ranch where money is hidden. However, as all of them reach on the spot, instead of a silo, told by Westmoreland, they discover that a subdivision has been erected.
FBI Agent Alexander Mahone is still making huge efforts to work out the escapees’ movements and studying the information retrieved from Michael’s hard drive, including a large number of documents relating to D.B. Cooper. He discovers that he has run out of Midazolam and becomes edgy and restless. He then gets a phone call from someone and meets him in front of a building
This man is an informant of Agent Alexander Mahone who had also helped Mahone on the Oscar Shales case and also helped by refilling Mahone’s pills. The pills really work for Alexander Mahone as it suddenly dawns to him that D.B. Cooper was Charles Westmoreland and as most of the prisoners were moving towards Utah, there should be a place in Salt Lake City where Westmoreland had stashed the money he had extorted during the hijack. FBI Agent Alexander Mahone then just stares into the birdbath before boarding up a flight to Utah.
Governor Frank Tancredi goes through Lincoln’s case file and an adviser enters in to tell him about his flight to Washington D.C. Governor Tancredi’s advisor explains him about Lincoln’s case and that Nick Savrinn is now dead and Veronica Donovan has disappeared. He also recommends if he wanted to become the Vice President of The United States, he should stop bothering with questions about Lincoln Burrows. Governor Frank Tancredi leaves but not before hurling the Lincoln’s file on the table.
