Prison Break Episode - Manhunt
The Season 2 of Prison Break premières with Michael along with Lincoln, Abruzzi, C-Note and Sucre, in the morning after the escape from the prison, takes the help of a goods train to evade Captain Bellick and his team. Alexander Mahone, Special Agent of the FBI is assigned the responsibility of leading the countrywide search operations for the runaway convicts. He conveys a press conference immediately and requests the public watching the television to locate the “Fox River 8.”
A hunter has in the interim, found five of the convicts. Michael, Lincoln, Abruzzi, C-note and Fernando are now in a fix as the hunter has pointed his rifle at them. Abruzzi is quick to react as he holds up as a hostage, the hunter’s young daughter and agrees him into dropping his rifle and giving the keys of his jeep, Grand Cherokee to Michael who then leads the escapees, on the road to a storage room where he had kept some things ready in the hunter’s SUV.
Michael’s credit card details leads Agent Alexander Mahone and Captain Bellick find a storage room in Oswego. However, the gang of five arrives first in the cemetery storage room to collect shovels and dig the grave of (R.I.P.) E. Chance Woods. Agent Alexander Mahone, who had already interpreted the grave’s name from Michael’s tattoo “Ripe Chance Woods”, gets a bit late as he reaches on the spot just after the gang had left with the dug out package. Lincoln Burrows took the backpack Michael hid and found the brothers’ fake passports. Thus, the five of them comfortably flee to Oswego and intermingle in, despite being tailed by the FBI Agent.
In another place T-Bag on the run, robs a nearby campground of a hat and cooler by intimidating the campers. T-Bag then lands up at the clinic of Dr. Marvin Gudat, a veterinary doctor and persuades him to fix up his earlier cut off left hand without the use of anesthesia.
Dr. Sara has also recovered from the drug overdose and is interrogated and informed by a FBI agent that total eight prisoners had escaped from the prison, including Michael. Following a visit by nurse Katie, Dr. Sara finds a swan made of origami in her purse, within which a message is written: “There’s a plan to make all of this right”, along with a dotted code. The dot code is a group of lines of numbers, 3221243324 is in the first line, the second line reads 4221312231and 23133121 is in the third line.

Terrence Steadman’s character in this season is being enacted by Jeff Perry and not John Billingsley. He is shown in this episode revealing a secret to Veronica that he is being willingly held captive inside the house and the doors are locked from outside and the windows have bulletproof glasses. She immediately calls up 911, and this is followed up by a call from Lincoln whom she informs of what all she had just learned. It is while on the phone that Veronica is shot dead by the members of the Company as she had found the Vice President’s brother. Lincoln is able to make out the gun shots and Veronica’s last words and is aggrieved but Michael tries to console his brother.
The episode ends with the FBI agent Alexander Mahon studying deeply the pictures of Michael’s tattoos and the intricate details of his escape plan, believing that it holds the answers of almost all of Michael’s future plans, including where he is heading to, so that he reaches there first, in time, and nab him immediately.
