Bellick and Geary are following Lincoln’s car and Lincoln notices someone following him as he is driving by a remote highway. Nika and Michael Scofield look at the back and recognize Bellick and Geary tailing them. Geary, who is driving the vehicle, moves up next to their car and makes an effort to force their automobile off the highway. He is successful in his attempt as their car goes down in a ditch and is rammed into a tree. Holding Nika, Michael and Lincoln at gunpoint, Bellick informs Michael that he is aware about the money in Utah and he would be accompanying them on their journey to discover the hidden money .Saying this he compels them to get into his and Geary’s vehicle.
FBI Agent Alexander Mahone is at the Chicago’s FBI field office and is presently briefed by one of his subordinates about the recovery of approximately twelve percent of the data from Michael’s hard drive, which he had discarded in the river. This data included newspaper clippings of Sara, Abruzzi, and D. B. Cooper’s money. Then, another man comes up to him and informs him that the blood results are out and are positive as B negative is the blood group off both Lincoln and Michael and it matches . Alexander Mahone gets infuriated and orders all the agents present in the field office to not to proclaim deaths of the convicts until they have been thoroughly confirmed, and dispenses commands about conducting more test.
Geary and Bellick’s car’s has a flat tyre and now they are forced to halt the vehicle. It all happened because Lincoln had clandestinely put a splinter of glass under the tyre. Bellick orders Geary to set off to the nearby town to purchase a tire and then he marches Lincoln, Michael, and Nika into the woods close by. Bound in a secluded building, Lincoln reveals to Michael that Nika could not be trusted according to him. Nika, on the other hand, is talking to Bellick, persuading him that she wants to see Michael dead and also informing him that Michael is trying to set up Bellick and Geary in Panguitch, Utah. She also offers to sleep with Bellick for a split of the wealth in Utah and as she is coaxing him, she attempts to steal Bellick’s gun. Bellick is quite smart and he sends her to the other room and tells her not to try and trick him. As he walks away, he realizes his knife is missing. Lincoln and Michael free themselves and use the weapon to take control of Bellick. As Geary comes back, he is also tied up along with Bellick who gives the news to Michael about Dr. Sara’s condition.
Agent Kellerman, who has been asked to keep an eye on Dr. Sara, poses as Lance, and attends the Narcotics Anonymous meeting where he tells the other recuperating addicts a very touching story about his mom who died of multiple sclerosis and suspecting that he may inherit it, knowing very well that it is not a genetic condition and will catch the attention of Sara. As soon as the meeting is over Agent Kellerman approaches Dr. Sara and starts a conversation in an attempt to befriend her. As they are having their pies together, Dr. Sara gets a phone call from Michael Scofield who at first apologizes for all troubles of Dr. Sara but Sara is no mood to talk to him. He resolutely reveals to her that there is something that he can do to protect her and that thing is already with her. Dr. Sara can’t make out what he is trying to convey but Agent Kellerman glances up after hearing Michael, whom Sara was addressing but he had hung up the phone.
David is on a journey with Debra Jean in her Toyota Yaris but as soon as the radio announces the escape of convicts from the Fox River Penitentiary, David turns the radio to John Denver song, ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ and in an awkward fashion sings along with it but just as David sees someone from the police, he asks Debra Jean to slow down her vehicle even though she is traveling at a very normal speed of sixty five miles per hour. This causes suspicion in Debra Jean’s mind regarding David and she conveys her location on phone to someone as soon as they stop to stay at The Lotus Motel in Mack, Colorado.
T-Bag makes a stoppage at a gas station in Friend, Nebraska and goes up to the restroom but the police surround the jeep T-Bag stole from veterinary Dr. Marvin Gudat, after murdering him. T-Bag comes out and tells them that he is a former US Marine wounded in combat in Kandahar, Afghanistan and conveniently passes the buck of the stolen vehicle on a “hippie” who is inside the gas station restroom. The police swiftly take the hippie into their custody. T-Bag, now left without a vehicle resorts to hitchhiking and is helped up by a man and his teenage daughter from the gas station. T-Bag hits upon the man’s daughter who complains his behavior to her father and the man tries to hit T-Bag who is prepared enough for the attack and ultimately steals his car and his hat. But before going away, he stares at the teenage girl who was picking up groceries and tells her that her father was dead. She drops her purchases and starts wailing. It is later that we know that T-Bag attacked the man but never killed him according to the police reports.
John Abruzzi is in Brooklyn, New York, meeting his family. A mafia friend confirms him that Otto Fibonacci will be testifying in Washington, D.C. and John Abruzzi chooses to avenge and not move away by sneaking on a cargo ship going to Sardinia, Italy. John Abruzzi then learns about Otto Fibonacci’s location, with a message that it is “from New Jersey; Fish-Head Tommy wants to pay tribute.” This whole thing happens to be a trap, and John Abruzzi fights till the end as he is shot by FBI Agent Alexander Mahone’s men.
As Lincoln, Michael and Nika start to leave, Michael offers to take Nika into the town but Nika insists on going with them and when Michael refuses flatly to take her, Nika agrees, hugging him, and saying goodbyes. But as she hugs Lincoln, she grabs the gun from Lincoln and showing it around Nika reveals that she loves Michael. She is about to call the police using the cell phone when Lincoln stops her and shows that the gun had no magazine clip as he had pulled it out earlier. He grabs the weapon and the mobile phone from Nika and sits in the car. Michael, gloomily, wishes Nika good luck and gets into the car along with his brother. The brothers drive off leaving Nika on the road, standing all alone.
FBI Agent Alexander Mahone gets some tests results from the lab which is proofs of the fact that the blood from the car crash site was pig’s blood. Agent Alexander Mahone recalls his failure to nab Oscar Shales and his anger is spewed on the picture of Michael Scofield as he says “You have no idea what you’re in for.”
