Welcome back!
Flight
The gang of convicts has finally broken out of the Fox River prison and they approach a van near an old mill where they break the vehicle’s head lights so as to avoid the police patrol. The van’s keys are said to be in a bin nearby, and Haywire is asked to find them. As soon as Haywire is out of the automobile, Abruzzi takes out the keys of the van from his pocket and gives them to Lincoln to drive the van. T-Bag’s suspicions arise and he handcuffs himself to Michael, swallowing the key to ensure that he is not killed by Abruzzi.
In the Fox River, Warden Pope is taking stock of the situation. He checks the location from where they had escaped and concludes that some one had deliberately left the door of the infirmary open. After some pressure, Dr. Sara’s nurse confirms that the doctor liked Michael
The prisoners are just a couple of miles away from the air strip, but the van has got stuck in mud. At this stage, Michael asks David to leave, as he had fulfilled his promise of taking him out of the prison and now he has to go on his own.
The team then finds a barn and tries to cut the handcuffs off. Sucre tries first but fails, so Abruzzi picks up a big axe and chops off T-Bag’s wrists leaving everyone astonished and T- Bag screams in pain.
The two people, who are left behind, David and Haywire, seem to be having more easy time. David climbs back, unseen on a horse trailer which is headed for St. Louis when he is faced with a road block. Haywire has found a girl’s bike from her garage and has disappeared with it in the night time.
There is dramatic turn of events far away in prison as well. Just when she was losing the backing of the Company, Vice President Reynolds has become the President because the earlier incumbent has died due to cardiac arrest, handiwork of Reynolds herself who had poisoned him. The police go to Dr. Sara’s apartment to arrest her but find her dead body instead. She died due to drug overdose. Inside the Montana mansion, Veronica comes across Terrence Steadman and this could be the biggest piece of information to free Lincoln.
The prisoners are bit late, as the plane has just left the air strip when they arrive. With the police on their back, they run towards the fields, finishing off the first season of Prison Break.
