Welcome back!
Go
In the Warden Pope’s office, Michael has held up Pope with the shank, ordering him to tell the guards, that Bellick is away for some personal work and Lincoln should be taken to the infirmary. Then Michael binds the Warden to a chair and locks him in a cabinet. But before rendering him unconscious he apologizes and informs him that Bellick is under the storage room.
On his way out, Michael gives Becky, the secretary of Pope, the message that Warden is on phone and wishes not to be disturbed.
Only five more minutes to go, and then an hour to escape from Fox River as far as the prisoners can. This has made Sucre, very afraid and uneasy. Westmoreland has wiped his wound, which is still bleeding and even has put up a fresh sock although the pain is getting more unbearable for him. David’s jumpsuit still has spots as he had started the bleaching process late, leaving him very edgy.
It’s the time for action and the group has assembled at Michael’s cell, with their bleached jumpsuits for their mission to start. Michael orders everyone to obstruct the door, so that he can uproot the toilet.
Trumpets, tries to play the spoilsport by tailing after C- Note into the Michael and Sucre’s cell but Abruzzi stops him by informing him that he hasn’t seen C-Note but Trumpets is insistent that he wants to look in, and upon entering the cell is unable to find C-Note who is sitting behind the wall in a concealed manner.
In the meantime, Captain Bellick, who was trapped in the hole, has freed himself, but is unable to yell out to the guards ,who are having coffee in the room above him, for help, as his mouth is sealed with tape and the room above has a carpet floor.
Veronica has been held at gunpoint by Nick. It is revealed to her that Abruzzi’s men had come up to him, after he had taken up Lincoln’s case and he had bargained to spy on Veronica, and some one already in prison will admit to the murder, his father is being accused of. Nick assured her that no one will get hurt, if Michael reveals Fibonacci’s whereabouts.
In Michael’s cell, Sucre has thrown a sheet to cover the cell door as the gang, with their white jumpsuits, creeps through the hole behind the toilet but when Sucre asks him about the key to the infirmary Michael has a very vague answer.
The group then passes through the section in the boiler room, where Michael had created a hole during the riots in the prison. Navigating through the various tunnels they suddenly hear Bellick wailing for help. T-Bag, reacting quickly goes up behind the Captain and shuts his mouth with his hand and drags him through the pipes.
The inmates stop at the place where the pipes meet, and Michael getting Bellick’s uniform. On seeing David, Bellick is angry, but David punches him and tapes his mouth so that he doesn’t reveal to everyone, his betrayal.
Michael spells out instructions to the convicts to put on the jumpsuits they had bleached and in the meantime himself tries to put off the alarm in Psych Ward, but each combination he tries, is unable to turn the red light into green.
Several miles away from the prison, Agent Kellerman, is trying hard to calm the upset Vice President who after being overlooked for a fundraiser, feels that the Company is now looking for her replacement.
Dr. Sara, sorts her thoughts out as she enters Fox River’s infirmary. There she comes across Lincoln who is being taken to examination rooms.
C-Note observes, while waiting for Michael, the aggrieving pain of Westmoreland but has maintained his silence. The group gets anxious when they hear an alarm going off in the yard, but are relieved to hear Michael that he has snapped off the fire alarm at the Psych Ward. On hearing the alarm, the inmates run out in the dark, but the incharge, checking the false alarm and marches them back inside.
Unnoticed, Michael, acting as C.O. wearing Bellick’s uniform and other inmates wearing white jumpsuits move out into the Psych Ward to take down the person at the front desk. The escapees’ then move towards the hall, into the basement from where they go through the tunnels leading to the infirmary.
It is on this stage of their way out, that Michael, in a very calm and cold manner, informs David that he knew that he had betrayed the group and once out of the prison he will be totally on his own.
Veronica pleads to Nick to free her and as he seems to be convinced, he pulls over his car and asks her to take a flight to Blackfoot. Then he goes over to his dad’s home only to find Abruzzi’s man holding him up, asking about Veronica’s whereabouts. Since he refuses to divulge details regarding Veronica, the man in the trench coat kills Nick’s father and injures Nick, who is adamant not to tell the man anything. Abruzzi’s man then directly shoots at Nick.
Even as Nurse Katie calls the doctor to talk about the fire alarm that had gone off in the Psych Ward, Dr. Sara is in extreme haste to exit the infirmary, her mind engrossed in what she has just done.
However, in the infirmary, Michael and his team have found Lincoln in the examination room, and they compel the guards to free him. Also, after a long pause, Michael tries to open the door of the infirmary, which opens easily.
Back in Warden Pope’s office, Becky enters the Pope’s office and finds him in the cabinet as he tries to send orders to nab the convicts.
The gang of convicts, in the mean time, is devising a way to pull off the iron bars from the window. They fasten a fire hose and try sending the elevator down to uproot the bars. David volunteers to go inside the elevator, knowing well, that he may never come back but ultimately he is successful and comes back to the group as Haywire appears with radio, giving them the choice, either they take him along or he calls out the guards. The team chooses the first option
First, Lincoln goes out then Abruzzi, followed by Sucre but Westmoreland is unable to make it through as his pain is now at peak, but before sending off Michael, he asks him to take care of his daughter and also informs him where he has hidden the $5 million he had got from the hijacking. C-Note, Michael, T-Bag, David and Manche all listen to this piece of information with utmost interest. All of them then move out one by one, only Manche is unable to make it, as he had noticed that the cable was getting weak, so he pushed Michael before him.
Several guard rush up near the wall, but Michael has crossed over. His plan to run away from prison is almost over.
