The Key
Lincoln is going to meet LJ, when the van carrying him, is hit by a truck. Kellerman appears on the scene and tries to smother Lincoln but his father Aldo, comes just in time to save him. Michael’s map is complete but he needs the key of the infirmary. A suggestion is put forward by C-Note that they can bump a guard and get the keys but Michael points out that the keys are with the medical staff only.
Abruzzi, back from the hospital as a changed and religious minded man meets Michael, confirms that he is still in the plan, and will arrange for a transport and also patches up with T-Bag.
Michael, goes up to Dr. Sara for treatment of his burns and uses the opportunity to grab the keys, by kissing her, but fails to obtain the key.
Michael, then requests David to steal the keys like he had stolen his watch from the guard but he asks Michael to kill his abusive cell- mate for him, something that Michael cannot do. To convince Michael, David narrates him his story how he ended up in Fox River prison. He knew a child from his area whose father had a collection of baseball cards. Since David himself wasn’t into baseball so he snatched the collection for some easy cash but one of the cards was worth more than $300,000 and he was sentenced for five years in prison making him feel guilty for stealing, without actually knowing the worth of his loot. Later, however David himself attempts to murder his cellmate who was about to rape him.
Meanwhile, Lincoln is informed by his father that he has been framed because of him. It turns out that Aldo had leaked some information about the Company, and Lincoln was dragged into all this to cover things up. Lincoln is, obviously, in a very unforgiving mood, as so many people including his son and brother were suffering because of all this.
Kellerman reaches the junk yard to shoot Lincoln dead but Captain Bellick also arrives on the scene and Lincoln calls him, to get himself back at the prison where is kept in 24 hour surveillance.
Dr. Sara is about to leave for lunch when Michael’s wife, LB approaches her and on the pretext of talking to her about Michael steals her keys but the Doctor later figures this out and gets all the locks changed.
In the end, David spills the beans to Bellick on the prisoner’s jail break plan and Captain Bellick now knows all the details.
