Pilot
The series premières with the introduction of Michael Scofield, a structural engineer who tattoos his body, gets rid of all the papers in his office and holds up a bank. He is sentenced to the Fox River State Penitentiary, in Joliet as he does not defend himself in the trial. In the prison, he befriends his cell mate Fernando Sucre and tells him that he is the brother of Lincoln Burrows, a man who is scheduled to be executed for murdering the Vice President’s brother but is innocent.
Meanwhile, Bishop McMorrow who is a close friend of the governor and wants to save Lincoln’s life is murdered in his bed and Secret Service Agents Kellerman and Hale are determined to make sure the death sentence goes through as planned.
