If you thought that Prison Break is over once the network bosses show it red light, then you can not be more wrong. The show finale was followed by episodes for DVD only and now to slake the ever increasing thirst for more of Prison Break, a video game is ready to hit the market.

Actually, this game was planned long before but the whole project had to be shoved before the fourth season of Prison Break came to an end. The project was in the hands of a defunct publisher of games, based on movies and TV shows, known as Brash Entertainment. The game was revived when Slovenia-based developer Zootfly, which was producing the game for Brash, made up its mind to complete the project from its own pocket.

Zootfly chief executive Bostjan Troha informed, “The cancellation was a blessing in disguise because we got to spend more time on the key gameplay features and get rid of the half-baked ideas Brash management pushed on us.”

Well, it’s not a joke to sell a video game that is based on a show that no longer exists and ran only for four seasons. But then Troha can depend on the loyal fans of the show who made this show such a huge success. They are sure to lap up everything that is associated with Prison Break TV show. To make it even better for the fans, Troha is trying to get the actors to do the voice over for the game. Now that is some thing that will make fans queue outside store to buy the game for they are missing their favorite actors already.

Where the Wild Things Are is the only other Brash’s game besides Prison Break that will see the light of the day. This game is also slated for a spring release though it is still looking for a publisher.

A few months ago, I read a statement showing that Prison Break will go on as long as network will allow it to. So, I was of thinking that at least, we’ll be having two more seasons of Prison Break. Throughout its four seasons, Prison Break became everyone’s darling TV show and also one of FOX channel’s most loved TV show. First season of ‘Prison Break’ performed very well and received good ratings. Popularity goes to this extent that the season, which was initially planned to have 13 episode run, get extra nine episodes. Series received several nominations and also won various awards including 2006’s ‘People’s Choice Award’ for Favorite New TV drama. First three seasons have also been released on DVDs.

Well, after the huge response of the viewers and such a great success, some short videos Were released especially for mobile phones. In fact, there has been a mobile phone specific spin-off of the show ‘Prison Break: Proof of Innocence’. During 2007, we came to know that Prison Break spin off would be coming very soon but later, it was put on hold. As of now, it seems to have no definite future.

The thing which soothes me a little is that we’ll watch some more episodes of ‘Prison Break’ in January, 2009. Let’s see what they’ve in their pocket for us! If anyone of you have any information regarding the fifth season of Prison Break, please share with me through your precious comments.

And, by the way what you to say about the Prison Break season 4 mid season finale ‘The Sunshine State’? The episode was aired on December 22, 2008 and I surely watched it. I liked it too much and must say that it was a mid season finale in true words. Hey… no issues if you missed it! Here, I am going to give you in-depth details of the episode and after reading it, you will feel like you’ve watched ‘The Sunshine State’.

Okay, let’s begin from the beginning of the stuff. We saw Lincoln doing whatever he can to help his brother Michael. Helping him in his war was Gretchen, Self, and Bagwell and they all went to Miami in order to get Scylla back. Later, another buddy who joined them after meeting up with Lincoln was Mahone. On the other hand, Michael awakened at a ranch miles away from civilization and came to face a psychiatrist who tried to conk out him and make him join the company. And, he also discovered that his mother Christina Rose Scofield was still alive and was currently working for the company. Lisa, General’s daughter kidnapped Sara and told her whereabouts of Michael. Later on, Michael escaped with Sara’s help.

Meanwhile, Gretchen had a secret deal with the one who was ready to buy Scylla. Gretchen cheated on the team and Self revealed that she was a prostitute exactly like her mother and grandmother. When things went as she initially planned, she killed the bodyguards of the buyer. Next, she was seen with dead bodies around her. Lincoln talked to his mother without realizing that she’s his mother.

Wow!!! Awesome!!! We finally came to know that Michael and Lincoln’s mother is alive and of course, Michael is still the smartest buddy of the world***

As we inch closer to the mid-season finale of Prison Break on December 22, am I the only one crying on the inside? Well guys, I have some good news and some bad news. I am not following the clichéd ‘bad news first’ so cheer up, we can always get depressed later. Good news is about casting and I am sure it will warm up the heart of even the most jaded of ‘Prison Break’ fans. Charles Westmoreland, who was left to die mid-escape from Fox River at the end of Season 1, is alive and will be back in the December 15 episode of ‘Prison Break’ portrayed by Muse Watson. He revisits as Michael carries on his quest to unravel the mystery of Scylla. That’s not all; there is another reason to look forward for the ‘Prison Break’ episodes in December. Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee Kathleen Quinlan will be joining the series next month in a recurring role of a high-ranking player within the Company.

Done with cheering? Now the other news according to The Hollywood Reporter is that cast and production crew of the ‘Prison Break’ has been informed by the FOX about the possible filming of two more episodes in Prison break season 4 . Before you decide that I am a certified moron, consider the huge catch these two episodes come with. According to The Hollywood Reporter, these two episodes may work out as season’s finale. Mind you guys, it’s their opinion not mine. The logic behind this conjecture is the steadily falling ratings. Besides, ‘Prison Break’ was also not placed on Fox’s midseason schedule, fanning many speculations. Only an ardent fan base has kept ‘Prison Break’ from going burst as its ratings are dismal.

However, these two episodes can also work out to be the non series ending event to be aired later. It could also be extras for DVD. Right now it’s not clear to anyone but I just thought that ‘Prison Break’ fanatic might be interested in knowing.

‘Prison Break’ the series have been around for almost three years. And, in its journey of more than three years the series has done a great job. With the latest that is in news, is that, this season, that is, the fourth one might just be the last season of the series. Now, doesn’t that come as a shock to you? Well, it was shocking news for me. Why would they try and turn down such an interesting series that also that early.

This thing is not that simple as it sounds. The first thing that I came across was that the season will have a two hour special. Now, when you are all excited and happy with this news, the next thing that you come across is that, this might just be the end of the season. Can you imagine end of the series. Well, I could not have thought of it even n my wildest dream. The reason behind the cancellation of the series is that the series has not been received well; the ratings have continuously dropped down over the years. As per the sources though we are not sure of anything, the channel might just not renewing the series with another season. Well, this is what that has been around. Though, no one is sure of it yet.

Now, this is definitely a bad news for the fans of the series. The series definitely has the potential and is one interesting crime, drama series on air these days. Now, people if you want that the series should not get cancelled, then, please go ahead and start watching the series. I don’t want this two hours special, to be the last episode of the series. I hope this will be taken into consideration, at least as far as the fans are concerned.

Do you know why like Prison Break so much? Because, even as you watch same series each season, it is like watching a completely different drama. Each season has its distinct flavor and its own revamped look. So, no monotony and no boredom. How do you like that buddies? With all other soaps running with same cast and same storyline I am waiting with bated breath for the new season of Prison Break starting September 1, Monday.

When I watched the first season neither I nor any of my friends ever thought that second season would be possible. I am sure even the creators of the show, be it writers or producers, ever thought that show would make it to the fourth season. The single thread running in all seasons which has also contributed hugely to the success of the Prison Break is Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrow. Recently I was reading his interview; though he was quite secretive about the coming season he happened to reveal that in this season Lincoln Burrow would find himself in Panama.

One of my friends recently spotted him in Mission Impossible II where he was a playing a minor character. Watch the movie folks and confirm because she has such a huge crush over this fella that I am almost sure that she was hallucinating.

Yes I got some stuff about Prison Break spin off. To be very honest you can call this as rumors but there are a few chances of its being truth too. So watch out. Read at your own risk. As the Prison Break is going to be back on screen from September one so I was pretty much excited for this. I came here to look for some interesting updates about the upcoming season that what’s new gonna happen over there. But accidentally I met with this news about spin off on buddy TV. So what if mistakenly after all I found the worthy stuff for me. You know the news story says that the Prison Break spin off is in work and the pilot episode script is about to be ready within a few days and then we will get some chunks on the storyline of Prison Break Spin off.

Here are the rumors that the spin off will be based upon the women prison unlike the original Prison break, with Michael breaking the prison with fellow prisoners and fighting against the injustice. Now this is the time for ladies on Prison Break. Hey you know I didn’t find anything exciting about this. Did you find the idea interesting that replace the men with women and remake a TV show which is already running successfully?

Although many TV series which bring their spin offs do the same thng but they keep the spin off storyline different from the original one. The change of entire cast is also the normal trend. But this is pretty strange that transform male character into female. Well I think I am exacerbating the idea. It’s not this bad. If I try to think positive then I find that, women too suffer from injustices in society, and the new story seems realistic from that view point.

May be there will be different story in different location and about different circumstances. If they guys will show the prison life and circumstances of women for a longer then I am interested in watching the spin off. Otherwise I am happy watching the original Prison Break here.

You stopped here, I knew it that this tag line will stop you here. This is the right tact to catch a Prison Break fan. Well, I am here to share about the initial episodes of season four. I’ll write just that what I found different and hot about season four. Like the basic story line of Prison Break, Michael broke the prison and absconded and kept on running from The Company. But this time he won’t run away, instead he will attack the company and will take revenge of Sara. Now his full attention will be towards company and we will be able to see his anger and the hard-core action in this season.

This is pretty exciting for me as I am an action freak and I like such development in the story. As previously, Michael and his companions were helpless, but now writers have given them strength to literally fight against the injustice and not to keep running away from threats. I liked this bold step after all now we can say that yes story is moving.

During the two seasons I was upset with the slow pace of the story. They spent full two seasons in telling about the past stories of characters and their deciding about the idea to break the prison and finally in the end of season two they took this step. I think, all this could have done in the very first season but anyways what is done is done, now I am happy that the drama series is bringing some action and now I am willing to watch the season four. The new characters introduced will also add some spice to the show. Especially I am waiting to see what will James Hiroyuki Lee is gonna bring, I think he will add some fun in the serious moments, as he is gonna play a person who can’t keep his mouth shut when required. The season four is really going to be mind blowing.

I am a big prison breaker and I do know how Michael successfully broken out of two prisons in two different countries. Just joking man!!!!

Everyone he loves and cares about is already with him except of his bro and nephew. Friends are less than his enemies that he met during his run and somehow, managed to really piss off some secret government organization.

What’s planned for his character or I must say what they want from him, it’s not clear, at least for me. Some storylines are still unsolved and some questions are still unanswered. Okay, tell me one thing do we really need one more season?

Michael has already broken two prisons, alright, how many times a person can be successful to break a prison.

I think, only for once, two times are also tolerable, but believe me if they’re planning for a third prison break, I will definitely quit the series.
