Welcome back!

It’s actually surprising, for me at least, as I never expected so. When the episode entitled ‘The Sunshine State’ was aired on December 22, 2008, we guessed that series is over and there’d be no more prison breaks. But, hey Prison Break season 4 is back with some more episodes. I have got the names of two episodes, ‘The Mother Lode’ and ‘VS.’, scheduled to be aired on April 17, 2009 and April 24, 2009 respectively! I’m trying to know more and would share with you soon J hopefully!

A few months ago, it was officially announced that there would be no fifth season of series and fans welcomed the decision of creators’ with open arms. It’s fine to shut the things down before they get too messy and start going nowhere. It, the phenomenon of going no-where, can also happen with Prison Break as how many times the same stuff, breaking the prisons and running away, can be repeated? Well, since I’ve got the news of some more episodes of Prison Break, I’ve been thinking if these episodes would have something to tie us to our seats when everybody was okay with the ending of the ‘The Sunshine State’?

In this episode, we saw that Lincoln and his buddies, including Gretchen, Self and T-Bag arrived in Miami in order to recover Scylla from its new owner. On the other hand, Sara searched for the missing Michael and came to know some hidden truths. Someone tried to double cross and the result was his death. Michael managed to escape with Sara’s help and came to know that his mother was still alive.

The show went on midseason break after that. I guess Fox Network is not ready to give up on a show which has brought laurels to the network, in terms of ratings and awards etc. That’s why they are brining it back with a bang with few last episodes! Fans’ are quite happy with it as we all love Prison Break tv show too much and watching more of it is our pleasure so I am waiting. What about you?

A few months ago, I read a statement showing that Prison Break will go on as long as network will allow it to. So, I was of thinking that at least, we’ll be having two more seasons of Prison Break. So, honestly, I didn’t treat the season 4 finale ‘The Sunshine State’ as a series finale! We all enjoyed it a lot with an expectation of new episodes of series!

But latest news is disturbing me a lot. Rumors are that Prison Break is over. I went through several blogs and websites and no one is sure about the fifth season of Prison Break. I really don’t know what’s gonna happen with my favorite drama!

Throughout its four seasons, Prison Break became everyone’s darling TV show and also one of FOX channel’s most loved TV show. First season of ‘Prison Break’ performed very well and received good ratings. Popularity goes to this extent that the season, which was initially planned to have 13 episode run, get extra nine episodes. Series received several nominations and also won various awards including 2006’s ‘People’s Choice Award’ for Favorite New TV drama. First three seasons have also been released on DVDs.

Well, after the huge response of the viewers and such a great success, some short videos Were released especially for mobile phones. In fact, there has been a mobile phone specific spin-off of the show ‘Prison Break: Proof of Innocence’. During 2007, we came to know that Prison Break spin off would be coming very soon but later, it was put on hold. As of now, it seems to have no definite future.

The thing which soothes me a little is that we’ll watch some more episodes of ‘Prison Break’ in January, 2009. Let’s see what they’ve in their pocket for us! If anyone of you have any information regarding the fifth season of Prison Break, please share with me through your precious comments.

You stopped here, I knew it that this tag line will stop you here. This is the right tact to catch a Prison Break fan. Well, I am here to share about the initial episodes of season four. I’ll write just that what I found different and hot about season four. Like the basic story line of Prison Break, Michael broke the prison and absconded and kept on running from The Company. But this time he won’t run away, instead he will attack the company and will take revenge of Sara. Now his full attention will be towards company and we will be able to see his anger and the hard-core action in this season.

This is pretty exciting for me as I am an action freak and I like such development in the story. As previously, Michael and his companions were helpless, but now writers have given them strength to literally fight against the injustice and not to keep running away from threats. I liked this bold step after all now we can say that yes story is moving.

During the two seasons I was upset with the slow pace of the story. They spent full two seasons in telling about the past stories of characters and their deciding about the idea to break the prison and finally in the end of season two they took this step. I think, all this could have done in the very first season but anyways what is done is done, now I am happy that the drama series is bringing some action and now I am willing to watch the season four. The new characters introduced will also add some spice to the show. Especially I am waiting to see what will James Hiroyuki Lee is gonna bring, I think he will add some fun in the serious moments, as he is gonna play a person who can’t keep his mouth shut when required. The season four is really going to be mind blowing.

Have you watched previous seasons of Prison Break? You’re here it means you’re a fan of series? Isn’t it? Yeah, yeah, I know you are a big prison breaker……. What says? I am a big prison breaker and I do know how Michael successfully broken out of two prisons in two different countries. Just joking man!!!!

Everyone he loves and cares about is already with him except of his bro and nephew. Friends are less than his enemies that he met during his run and somehow, managed to really piss off some secret government organization.

What’s planned for his character or I must say what they want from him, it’s not clear, at least for me. Some storylines are still unsolved and some questions are still unanswered. Okay, tell me one thing do we really need one more season?

Michael has already broken two prisons, alright, how many times a person can be successful to break a prison.

I think, only for once, two times are also tolerable, but believe me if they’re planning for a third prison break, I will definitely quit the series.
