Peter Stormare, a Swedish actor, born in Sweden on August 27th 1953 is not known as an act or only but also as a theatrical director, playwright and musician also. He took birth in the family of Teodolinda and Renato Storm. He began his acting career at the Sweden Royal Dramatic Theatre where he performed for eleven successive years under the direction of Ingmar Bergman. In 1990, he took a leading position at the Tokyo Globe Theatre. After brilliant appearance in ‘Hamlet’ in New York, he started getting roles in movies . He next made his appearance in movies such as ‘Fargo’, ‘Armageddon’, ‘Constantine’ etc. In the 1997 movie ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’, he portrayed Dieter Stark. In 1998, he appeared in an episode of ‘Seinfeld’ portraying Slippery Pete. In the very same year, he became a part of ‘The Big Lebowski’, and ‘Armageddon’ etc. In 2003, he appeared as Alexey on ‘Bad Boys II’. During 2005, he was seen in ‘Constantine’ playing Lucifer. In the same year, his next appearance was on ‘The Brothers Grimm’. And, in the very same year, he became the part of ‘Prison Break’ playing John Abruzzi, a mobster. In 2007, he portrayed an important role in CSI.
In the video game, Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, he voiced Mattias Nilsson. In the computer game, Icewind Dale 2, he gave his voice to Isair and voiced Johann Strauss in ‘Quake 4’. During 2006, he once again voice Mattias Nilsson on ‘Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction’.
Peter is often cast as the villain in movies and his characters is often European. On the small screen, he has appeared in productions like the TV movies ‘Purgatory’, ‘No Man’s Land’ and ‘Seppan’ etc. He has also appeared in the TV series ‘Swift Justice’. He is currently living in Los Angeles, California, USA, with his wife. In 2002, he released his first album ‘Dallerpölsa och småfåglar’.
Peter Stormare was previously married to actress Karen Sillas and has a daughter named Kelly with her. They later divorced each other. Currently, he’s married to Toshimi Stormare.
