He started his acting career at the age of 15.As a student, he was often sent to principal‘s office for his irreverent behavior. After graduating from Austin High School in 2002, he chose to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles, California over studying art in New York City. His taste in music continues to be quite eclectic, with special interest in blues, jazz, and rock. He produced a play with friends when he was 17 called History of the Devil, which was the premier production of the Fear Theatre Company in Austin. He has also appeared as a guest star on shows such as Boston Public, Without a Trace, and Phil of the Future, Malcolm in the Middle, The Practice and Close To Home. His films include Little Black Book, Dishdogz, Shallow Ground and Hostage. On ‘Devil’s Night’, a critically acclaimed play, he played Joseph Mason. The feature film version of ‘Devil’s Night’ is currently in development. Marshall married Jamie Brown on 17 June 2006, in Austin, Texas.
Marshall is best known for his role as L.J. Burrows on Fox’s successful television series, Prison Break.
