Dominic born in England but at the age of two, he and his family; Norwegian father and Irish mother moved from England to Australia. After becoming a landscape gardener, he soon tired of the profession .While watching the war movie Platoon (1986); he decided to become an actor. He decided to attend a drama school. So, he studied at The Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) and then later enrolled at the Western Australian Academy of Performing arts where he met his future wife Rebecca and studied with Hugh Jackman. In 1997, Dominic scored a role in the TV series “Raw FM” (1997). After that he played a role in Mission: Impossible II (2000). In 2000, he won a green card lottery, and moved to the United States, living in Los Angeles for a few years. Dominic has been working constantly with roles in the movie Equilibrium (2002). After getting the title role in John Doe, he finally moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with his wife Rebecca, and their two children, son Joseph and daughter Audrey.
Dominic’s most recent role was as Lincoln Burrows on Prison Break who is accused of murdering vice president’s brother and is scheduled to be executed and his brother is the only person that believes that he is innocent and is going to be executed for a crime that he did not commit.
