However, don’t expect the show to be a Prison Break spin off.

The filming of the series will start in this fall in Toronto and the show will be ready by next year. The cast of ‘Breakout Kings’ includes Domenick Lombardozzi, Jimmi Simpson, Laz Alonso, Brooke Nevin and Malcolm Goodwin.

The roles of marshals who are assigned to catch the fugitives will be played by Laz Alonso of ‘Southland’ fame and Domenick Lombardozzi of ‘The Wire.’

The story of the film is based on a teenager, who is greatly affected by the death of her father, until an estranged uncle turns up and helps the family to overcome the grief. Mulligan will play the teenager, while Foster will pose as her mother.

The story looks great!!

Kevin Hooks, the producer of Prison Break, has landed another TV series, ‘Detroit 1-8-7′. The producer and director is the reason you watch Prison Break, and has been signed by ABC for their new drama series.

It has been confirmed that he will direct and produce at least two episodes of Detroit 1-8-7. Hooks had earlier been hired by Fox for four seasons of Prison Break.

Now with Prison Break cancelled, Kevin Hooks is free. So fans, get ready for another exciting journey with Hooks. With Prison Break’s tremendous success, Hooks is definitely going to bring life to the upcoming series.
